Lavra, Matosinhos

About 20 minutes from downtown Porto and Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (there’s even a direct bus line, the 5020, between the Airport and Agudela)

Unfortunately not. We have three resident cats who already consider the house (and garden) their own territory, so we'd rather not mix in visiting pets — it's fairer for everyone, including your own pet.

Yes, both — the travel cot can be set up in either suite, but you'll need to check availability when booking.

By car, it's about 15 minutes from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport and 20 minutes from central Porto. By public transport, there's a direct bus line between the Airport and Agudela (bus 5020), and regular connections from central Porto (buses 601 and 5001, about 1 hour).

Check-in at 2:30pm, check-out at 11:30am. If you need different times, just get in touch directly with us — since we're the ones welcoming you, there's usually some flexibility to work something out.

Between June and September the water is most inviting, but the Atlantic here is never really warm — even in summer, plenty of days call for a swimsuit and a light jacket for the late afternoon.

Yes, free street parking right by the property.

Not strictly, but it helps. The beaches and Lavra's centre are a short walk or bike ride away, but to reach Angeiras, Porto, or make the most of our Porto guide, a car (your own or rented) makes things much easier.

Yes — about a 10-minute walk away you'll find a Pingo Doce and a Continente, plus a pharmacy, bakery, fruit shop, and convenience store.

The Vintage Boutique Room is ground-floor and step-free all the way to the bedroom and bathroom (just one small step to the garden) — that's what allows us to guarantee full bathroom accessibility. The Luxurious Seaside Suite is on the 1st floor, with stairs up to it.

The Luxurious Seaside Suite has one — a fully equipped kitchenette (Nespresso, kettle, microwave, fridge, air fryer). The Vintage Boutique Room has a mini fridge and a coffee and tea station with Portuguese treats included, and guests also have access to a kitchen shared with the hosts.

No, in neither suite — each has a fully private bathroom.

Wifi, towels, robe, slippers, and bath amenities are included in both suites.
